Guemes Island is served by a small car and passenger ferry that runs from 6:30 a.m til 8 p.m. on weekdays, and 6:30 a.m. til 11 p.m. on weekends. It holds between 20 and 25 cars and seats around 30 in the passenger cabin.

If you're coming to the reception at 4:30, you'll probably want to take the 4:00 ferry run from Anacortes. Please consider carpooling! There is limited parking at the resort, and the ferry will fill up faster than you can say "Guemes" if everyone takes their car! There's a nice parking lot to the east of the ferry terminal, accessible from "K" Avenue, just north of 6th St. (It's the lighter colored lot in the lower right-hand corner of the sattelite picture. The larger lot to the north is private marina parking.) Leave your car there, jump in with a friend, and save some money on your fare to boot!

It costs $9.00 for a car and driver to ride the ferry. Additional passengers are $3.00 each. Walk-ons also cost $3.00. If you want to pay with a credit card, get there early and go inside the office to buy your tickets. Cash and checks are accepted as you board the ferry. Just pay the crew member as you drive/walk down the ramp.
